Wow, this was a DNF. I got to like 23% and just had to stop. Not only could I not stand the heroine, but I kept getting bogged down by the writing.The dialogue was filled with the he said, she said adverbs. It was too distracting, and I couldn't follow the story anymore. Too much telling and not enough showing.
